What does Vivir mean? Vivir means to live in Spanish. I chose this word to represent my counseling practice because the first thing I want you to acknowledge is that by being here, you have already taken the first step: you have decided to work on living a better quality of life. You have put you and your life first. About Teresa Warvel: I am so happy you are here! My name is Teresa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with children starting at the age of 7, adolescents, and young adults via telehealth. I also work with parents who are looking to learn more about their child's behavior and how to better support them. I received my Master's degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio, completed my residency in Virginia, and I am now back in the state of Texas. My goal is to provide you with your own safe space by building a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship. You are the driver and I am the passenger. I go at your own pace. I adapt to my client’s needs and individual goals, after all, therapy interventions are not a “one size fits all”.
